The longest held fun run in Australia, the Adelaide Harriers King's Birthday 5km Turkey Handicap Fun Run. This is a fun, social, family friendly event open to everyone. Being a turkey handicap, you predict your time and then run without a watch. The person closest to their predicted time wins meaning that anyone can win - an olympic runner or a casual walker or YOU!
A kids dash (800m) will be held on completion of the main 5km race. $2 entry on the day. Two laps of the 400m grass track adjacent the clubrooms.
Pre-register, predict your time and pick up your bib number on the day from 8.30am. Entries on the day close at 9:45am in preparation for a 10am start.
All welcome*, all events open to the public, no memberships required. *Children under 11 years require an adult to chaperone. *Dogs on short leash and under control please.
