For those of us with a severe case of the sweet tooth, when the sugar cravings kick in, staying strong is about as hard as running a marathon. Before we know it, we are filling up on empty calories, only to experience a sugar high followed by an all time sugar low. But what if you could satisfy those cravings with a decedant smoothie, sans the guilt that comes with eating junk. In comes Olivia Arezzolo to the rescue with her wickely delicious creamy coconut smoothie recipe.

Flavour of the month coconut is so popular for good reason: its packed full of minerals which strengthen your collagen - which we all know is needed for smooth, radiant skin. It’s packed with heart healthy fats, helping heart function and allowing absorption of our other vitamins - so by adding fat, you can actually improve the body’s ability to suck out vitamins (A, D, E and K to be specific) from the other ingredients in the smoothie - all hail coconut!"

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup Absolute Organic Desiccated Coconut 
  • 1 tablespoon coconut cream 
  • Enough almond milk to reach the consistency you like

Instructions
  • Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with extra desiccated coconut.
